Psalm 103:12
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us
Too often lately, I have been forgetting these truths. But I am rejoicing tonight in the fact that God is working, He is filling my heart and soul with His truth. Pointing out sin and setting me free.
It's not always easy..... in fact, sometimes, it is really really hard. I fall back into the sin I long to be free of. But God is gracious and I am filled with awe that He has chosen NOW to work, to move in my life, to fill me with Him.
He is reminding me in this season, what Easter is. The Hope that we all have in the cross, in His Son who died and was raised up, defeating death and the power of satan.
Psalm 139 is my favourite this week. It is speaking to me and it is my prayer.
I am praying that God will work in your lives this Easter season. Drawing you closer to Him, reminding you of, or revealing His Truth in your life. Sometimes it is easy to hear the Easter story and not let it impact our lives.
But it should impact us:
Jesus died for you. He willingly suffered death on a cross;
So that YOU might have life. That YOU might be free.
That YOU might be forgiven for EVERY sin in your life.
Isn't that AWESOME and praiseworthy and life-changing?
