i heart faces - Beginners

This week, i heart faces has a beginners category. It's a category set up so that those of us who are just starting out, can get feed back on our pictures from others, I am looking forward to it. I want to learn more, as at this point, everything I know, I've learned by fiddling and I don't know if it looks good to anyone else but me!
The theme is still *messy* but you can only enter one photo (either adult or kid). I'm entering this one of Owen.

If you haven't checked out their website yet, head on over and look through all the entries...maybe even join in on the fun!

I think you have good photo instincts judging by the photo's on your site. I like the composition of this image and the lighting and colors are equally good! A great capture!

PLUS he is cute as a button!

I bet he is super cute when he is not green. :) It looks like you did not use flash in this picture...am I right? The skin tones are nice and even, which comes from natural light. I would be tempted to brighten his face and darken the background, which is kind of my standard on pictures. This is a nice, clear image, forming the requisite framework for a fabulous end product!

I just love this!

Really adorable. Maybe crop off the very top of the picture so you just see the chair and not the line. I like the sunlight too. Great picture.

My first thought was oh no his hair! But then I saw how darling he is, and really they are even cute when you have to clean up a mess like that!

Oh, he's too cute. Love that it's even in his hair! Must've been fun to clean up, LOL! I think you're doing a great job with this photo. Nice use of natural light, great clarity. He has lovely eyes that photograph well!
